Slowly, at two kilometers per hour, a tractor driven by a donkey and topped by a musician appears on the roadway or sidewalk. It pulls four tall tables of green grass from which emerge the retinue of the herd in full ceremonial dress.
The animal actors and actresses prove to be zealous servants, offering samples of curious dishes and drinks on the go.
One donkey particularly addresses the children with colorful drinks, while others spread toast with their udders, which they offer to the greedy spectators.
